Jonathan Ho Receives Young Professional Award from Greater Vancouver Section of CITE


November 29, 2011: The Greater Vancouver Section of the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers today presented Jonathan Ho, P.Eng., PTOE the 2011 Young Professional Award. After graduating from UBC with a Bachelor in Applied Science in 2007, Jonathan joined Binnie as a Transportation/Traffic Engineer. 

 At Binnie, Jonathan is involved in performing traffic engineering duties for a variety of clients in the public and private sectors.  Working on a number of highway improvement projects throughout the province, he is a valuable asset to the company.  Jonathan completed his Engineer-in-Training while working at Binnie and received his Professional Engineer designation in 2010. 

In 2011 he successfully obtained his Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) designation issued by the Transportation Professional Certification Board, the first Binnie employee to do so.

 Jonathan is an active volunteer outside of work, and is currently the Vice President of the local ITE section. He also participated in the organizing committee for the successful hosting of the ITE Quad Conference in 2009.  In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys traveling the world and is an avid photographer.
