Overview
The District of West Vancouver retained Binnie and Winvan Paving Ltd. as the successful design/build team to reconstruct roads and watermains throughout seven locations in West Vancouver.

Binnie functioned as the Prime Consultant and Civil Engineer, responsible for design development and preparation of the detailed design drawings. During construction, Binnie fulfilled the Quality Management role, providing survey layout for construction, site representation to confirm workmanship and compliance with industry standards, and liaison with residents.

Binnie and Winvan worked closely with the District to develop and provide enhanced road streetscapes which incorporate traffic calming devices, accessible parking, and greater areas for landscaping. The completed works also improve pedestrian access and safety to West Vancouver's residents.
