Overview
R.F. Binnie and Associates provided the topographic survey and construction layout for the reconstruction of Scott Road from 96 th Avenue to 104 th Avenue. The compressed schedule of the design stage required the efforts of 3 survey teams working simultaneously to complete the topographic survey within the allotted time. Following the approval of the design by the City of Surrey and the award of the contract, Binnie undertook the survey layout for sewers, watermain, and roadworks using conventional survey methods and the TDS Roadworks Software. The approximate value of survey fees exceeded $150,000.00.
