Pemberton Benchlands Phase 1 Development

Overview
The Pemberton Benchlands - Phase 1 Development consists of 54 single family lots located southwest of Pemberton Meadows Road and north of Dogwood Street in the Village of Pemberton, BC.   The development was designed using Smart Growth and Sustainability Design Principles with narrower pavement widths to reduce the pavement, steeper road grades to meet the existing topography of the land and avoid extensive blasting, and biofiltration swales replacing the traditional concrete curb and gutter. The Pemberton Benchlands - Phase 1 Development was one of the first development to be planned and designed to meet the Smart Growth and Sustainability Design Principles in Pemberton. This alternative design concept was welcomed by the Village of Pemberton and now forms the basis of development in that region.

The servicing works includes a new T-Intersection on Pemberton Meadows Road and a new sanitary sewage pump station and sanitary forcemain.
