24th Avenue: 152 St. to George Highway Public Presentation Plans

Overview
The City of Surrey retained Binnie to provide detailed designs for the ultimate widening of 24 th Avenue. As part of the City's project requirements, presentation plans were required for Public Consultation Open Houses. We have prepared several "public presentation" drawings, presentations and handouts for several projects, using orthophotos and coloured graphics to give a non-technical audience a clear understanding of the proposed engineering works.

Binnie understands the importance of working with residents, businesses and the public to obtain support for engineering projects in their community. Our Senior CAD & Graphics Technician, Paul Rae, was recently awarded Autodesk's 2004 Innovation Award for North America in GIS and Mapping for the presentation plans he prepared for the Sea to Sky Highway Project. He also prepared the presentation plans for the 24 th Avenue Project, which received positive feedback from both the City and residents.
