Farrell Creek

The project, located on Farrell Creek Road, was 15.53 km long - 15 km North East of Hudson's Hope.  The purpose of the project was to upgrade the existing road for the oil and gas industry. This was accomplished by widening the existing road to the Peace River template, repairing soft spots, placing Geotextile and Geogrid on Sub grade, and capping with 300mm of WGB in preparation for future seal coating. One new culvert was added and existing culverts were extended to suit.

Binnie's responsibilities included: Construction Supervision including Budget Reporting, Quantity Tracking, Liaising with the MoT, Quality Management, Quality Assurance Inspection, Traffic Management, Survey, Coordination with Utility Companies, i.e. BC Transmission Corporation, Telus and Hydro.
