Horseshoe Bay Terminal Upgrade

Binnie was retained to provide construction survey layout and monthly certification of progress for the $8 million upgrade of the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal. The requirements of the project included monthly survey measurements to determine the volume of rock that had been blasted and removed from the rock face.

The survey was undertaken using reflectorless technology, which enabled us to complete the task without jeopardizing employee safety, while at the same time increasing efficiency. The firm was also retained to certify the monthly progress claims by the contractor and provide supporting documentation, including quantity calculations and drawings showing work completed to date.
