Rivers Edge Subdivision - Phase 3

Rivers Edge is a 25-lot bare-land strata subdivision at the end of Robert Lang Drive on a plateau near the beautiful Puntledge River.  The development work included the road construction complete with curb and sidewalks, service infrastructure for the single family lots, and off-site improvements to storm and pedestrian walkway and trail.

Binnie's responsibilities included environmental development permit, subdivision layout and design, coordinating environmental assessments and geotechnical slope stability reviews, detail design for servicing, construction field review and coordination of final registration process.

The servicing included 245m of new road complete with rollover type concrete curb and gutter and concrete sidewalk on one side.  The servicing included 225m watermain, 215m sanitary sewer, 250m storm sewer, 200m of each service connections, an oil/grit separator for storm drainage flows leaving the site and provision of a bulk water meter system for both domestic and fire flows.
