Upper Halfway Road

The project was located on Upper Halfway Road #117 – from km 46.0 to 54.1, 72km North of the City of Fort St. John on the Alaska Highway #97. The project entailed the reconstruction and widening of 8km of existing gravel roadway including base repairs and drainage improvements.The project also included applying a Seal coat surface on the 8km and 11 km of an adjoining project.

Binnie's responsibilities included: Construction Supervision including Budget Reporting, Quantity Tracking, Liaising with the MoT, Quality Management, Quality Assurance Inspection, Traffic Management, Survey, Coordination with Utility Companies, i.e. BC Transmission Corporation, Telus and Hydro.
