Vanier Park Drainage Study & Design

Binnie was retained by Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival to perform a drainage study and design for Vanier Park. Bard on the Beach's expansion in Vanier Park involves increasing the new replacement tent capacity by 390 seats with drainage upgrades and new landscaping.

 Binnie was involved in the design, drawing preparation, tendering, construction administration and inspection. The drainage system was designed with connections to rain barrels that will be collecting runoff from the main tent during the season. The site was regraded towards a new rain garden which also collects the flow from the new drainage system.
